Usage and Indications:
Dimetapp DM Cough & Cold Elixir is specially formulated to tackle a range of symptoms associated with children's colds and allergies. This elixir is ideal for addressing:
- Nasal and sinus congestion
- Blocked or runny nose
- Itchy, watery eyes
- Sneezing
- Dry, irritating cough
Active Ingredients:
Each 5mL of Dimetapp DM Cough & Cold Elixir contains a potent combination of active ingredients:
- Brompheniramine Maleate 2mg
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg
- Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg
Additionally, the elixir contains Sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, alcohol, and sorbitol (32.76g/60mL). Please note that products containing sorbitol could lead to a laxative effect or diarrhea.
Dosage Instructions:
For children aged 6 years to under 12 years: Take 5mL For adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take 10mL
Administer every 4 hours as needed, but do not exceed 6 doses within a 24-hour period. This elixir can be consumed with water or fruit juice, and a measuring cup is provided for accurate dosage.
