Nurofen for Children is intended for the temporary relief of pain and inflammation. It is ideal for children aged 3 months to 12 years. It's crucial to carefully read the dosage instructions before use. Repeat the dose every 6 to 8 hours as needed, with a maximum of 3 doses within 24 hours. For children whose weight doesn't align with their age in the provided table, select the appropriate dose based on their weight. It's recommended for children to remain well-hydrated while using this product. Always ensure that the child-resistant cap mechanism is engaged after each use by securely tightening the cap until a clicking sound is heard.
Dosage Instructions:
- 3-6 months (average weight 6-8kg): 1.5-2.0mL
- 6-12 months (average weight 8-10kg): 2.0-2.5mL
- 1-3 years (average weight 10-14kg): 2.5-3.5mL
- 3-5 years (average weight 14-18kg): 3.5-4.5mL
- 5-7 years (average weight 18-22kg): 4.5-5.5mL
- 7-9 years (average weight 22-28kg): 5.5-7.0mL
- 9-12 years (average weight 28-40kg): 7.0-10mL
To administer the dose accurately, shake the bottle well and use the provided syringe. Insert the syringe firmly into the bottle's neck and turn it upside down to draw the liquid into the syringe. Twist the syringe gently to remove and administer the liquid slowly to your child. After use, wash the syringe parts in warm water and allow them to dry. Do not boil.
