This is especially beneficial for children experiencing nausea or vomiting.

 

Usage and Indications:
The active ingredient in Children’s Panadol Suppositories is paracetamol, which effectively reduces fever in young children for up to six hours. These suppositories are designed to relieve pain caused by a range of discomforts, including:

  • Teething
  • Immunization
  • Earache
  • Headache
  • Toothache
  • Cold and flu symptoms

Paracetamol

 

Dosage Instructions:
For children aged 5-9 years weighing between 18-28 kg, administer 1 suppository. Repeat every 4-6 hours if necessary, with a maximum of 4 suppositories within 24 hours. For children aged 9-12 years weighing between 28-41 kg, administer 2 suppositories. Repeat every 4-6 hours if necessary, with a maximum of 8 suppositories within 24 hours.

 

Safety Precautions and Warnings:

  • Do not use if allergic to paracetamol or if using other medicines containing paracetamol.
  • Avoid use for more than 48 hours at a time, unless advised by a medical professional.
  • Do not use if the package seals are broken or if the use-by date has expired.
  • Consult a doctor before use if your child has liver or kidney problems, weighs less than 18 kg or more than 41 kg.
  • Discontinue use and seek medical attention if your child experiences an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath, or wheezing after using this medicine.

 

Direction for Use:
For rectal use only – not to be swallowed.

  1. Tear the suppository from the strip and remove the blister.
  2. Moistened the suppository just before insertion for ease.
  3. Insert the suppository into the rectum following the dosage table provided.
  4. Calculate the correct dose based on the child's weight or age.
  5. Administer every 4-6 hours as needed.

 

Storage and Shelf Life:
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not store above 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Check the packaging for the expiry date. Once expired, please dispose of properly.
