Usage and Indications:
Difflam Plus Anaesthetic Sore Throat Lozenges are designed for temporary relief from a range of discomforts, including sore throats, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, mouth ulcers, swelling, redness, and inflammatory conditions. They are particularly beneficial for managing pain following mouth or throat surgery, as well as dental procedures.
Active Ingredients:
Each lozenge contains:
- Benzydamine hydrochloride: 3.0mg
- Lidocaine (Lignocaine) hydrochloride monohydrate: 4.0mg
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol: 1.2mg
Dosage Instructions:
- Age: Adults and children aged 6 years & over
- Dosage: 1 lozenge
- Frequency: Every 2-3 hours as required (maximum 12 lozenges per day)
- Administration: Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth, do not chew.
Safety Precautions and Warnings:
- Do not use if the blister seal is broken or if past the expiry date.
- Avoid if allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
- Seek medical advice before use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
