Usage and Indications:
Noxicid Caps Heartburn Relief is used for the relief of frequent heartburn and stomach acid complaints due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). GORD can cause a burning sensation in the chest rising up to the throat, also known as heartburn. If you experience heartburn two or more times a week, it's a typical symptom of GORD. Noxicid Caps Heartburn Relief works by decreasing the amount of acid made by the stomach, providing relief of symptoms and allowing healing to take place.
Active Ingredients:
Each capsule contains 20mg of Esomeprazole Magnesium.
Dosage Instructions:
Take one Noxicid Caps Heartburn Relief capsule each day. Swallow the enteric capsules whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew them. It's advisable to take them at approximately the same time each day for best results. Please note that Noxicid Caps Heartburn Relief is not intended for immediate relief and may take several days to achieve maximum results. Use it for at least 7 days and up to 14 days, unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
Safety Precautions and Warnings:
- Do not take Noxicid Caps Heartburn Relief if you have allergies to esomeprazole, any ingredients listed at the end of this leaflet, or any medicines containing a proton-pump inhibitor.
- Consult your pharmacist or doctor before use if you are taking atazanavir, cilostazol, or other medications.
- This product is not approved for use in children under 18 years of age.
- Check the expiry date on the packaging; do not use if it's expired or shows signs of tampering.
- Inform your pharmacist or doctor of any allergies, liver or kidney problems, difficulty swallowing, or other significant medical conditions.
- If you've taken heartburn/indigestion medications continuously for 4 or more weeks, consult your healthcare provider.
- If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your pharmacist or doctor about the risks and benefits.
- Inform your pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are taking, including non-prescription ones.
