Waxsol Ear Drops are your trusted solution for removing stubborn ear wax. This clear and colorless liquid is designed to effectively clear ear canals blocked by wax in adults and the elderly. Please note that for children under 12 years, its use should be based on medical advice. Our specially formulated drops work by softening and breaking up ear wax, thanks to a mild emulsifier that penetrates and disperses ear wax.
Usage and Indications:
Are you experiencing discomfort due to a blocked ear caused by excessive ear wax? Waxsol Ear Drops are here to help. Ear blockages often occur when ear wax (cerumen) builds up in the ear canal. While ear wax is a natural substance, it can harden over time, making it challenging to remove. Waxsol offers a safe and gentle method for unblocking your ears and addressing ear wax buildup.
Active Ingredients:
- Docusate Sodium: 0.5% w/v
- Other Ingredients: Water miscible base, glycerine, hydroxybenzoate esters (1.7 mg/ml), phenoxyethanol (4.3 mg/ml) as preservatives.
Dosage Instructions:
- Confirm that your symptoms are indeed caused by earwax buildup. If you're uncertain, consult your healthcare professional.
- Fill the dropper from the Waxsol bottle.
- Tilt your head to one side.
- Gently administer Waxsol into your blocked ear until it's full.
- Place a cotton wool plug in the ear, ideally before bedtime.
- Remove the plug the following morning.
- Repeat the procedure on the second night.
Two nightly applications of Waxsol should effectively loosen hardened ear wax, making it easier to remove.
Safety Precautions and Warnings:

- Do not use Waxsol if:
- The ear drum is perforated, and the ear is inflamed.
- You have eczema or seborrhoeic dermatitis on the outer ear.

If you continue to experience blockage, pain, or notice ear canal discharge, consult your doctor. Never insert items like cotton tips or ear picks into the ear canal, as they may push the blockage deeper, potentially causing temporary or permanent hearing loss.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Store the Waxsol bottle below 25°C. Do not use Waxsol after the expiry date, which is printed or embossed on the carton and label.
