Usage and Indications:
Nexium 24HR 20mg tablets are designed for adults aged 18 years and above who seek relief from the following symptoms:
- Frequent heartburn
- Acid regurgitation
- Gastro-oesophageal reflux
Active Ingredients:
Each Nexium 24HR tablet contains:
- Esomeprazole 20mg (as Magnesium Trihydrate)
Dosage Instructions:
For adults 18 years of age and older:
- Take 1 tablet daily for a minimum of 7 days and up to 14 days.
- Do not exceed a maximum of 14 days of treatment.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.
- Do not use for more than 14 days without a doctor's direction.

Before using Nexium 24HR, please consider the following precautions:
- Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you don't feel well while taking this product.
- Adhere to the recommended dosage.
- Keep out of reach of children under 18 years of age.
- Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any other proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole, rabeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole).
- Avoid use if you are taking antiretroviral medicines, such as atazanavir, or cilostazol, a medicine used to treat pain and cramping due to inadequate blood flow.
- Do not use while breastfeeding or if the blister foil is broken.
- Check the expiry date printed on the pack before use.
- If an overdose is suspected, contact your doctor, the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26), or the nearest hospital's Accident and Emergency department.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Store Nexium 24HR below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep the product in its original packaging to protect it from moisture and light.
